HOW TO USE GRAV-TRAC

Getting started is easy. Please INSTALL your Grav-Trac on a standard doorframe. See instructions for proper fitting.

Step 1 - Always test your Grav-Trac's position on the doorframe prior to use. A firm tug
on the main bar to check the positioning will ensure proper position. At this time, DO NOT hang from the bar until you have firmly tested it.

Step 2
- Grasp the padded main bar firmly. Your palms may face either direction, depending on your comfort. The important thing is to get a firm grip that you can maintain for several seconds.

Step 3
- Slowly lower yourself until your arms are fully extended. This hanging position will stretch your back muscles and begin to release the pressure on your spine. Do not swing back and forth. You will feel the stretch from simply hanging. We recommend that you hang for 15-30 seconds at a time, and repeat this process two to four times a day.

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP - ALWAYS keep your feet on the ground. While Grav-Trac has been tested and can hold up to 400 lbs, your hands may not be ready to bear your full body weight. Therefore we recommend that you always keep your feet firmly on the ground while hanging. Should your hand strength fail for some reason, this will prevent an unsupported fall.

Step 4 - While hanging, do not over arch your back. As shown here, try to maintain a flat back to allow for maximum stretch and release of spinal tension.
