Nerve
roots attach to the spine through small openings between
the vertebrae and discs. These discs actually form the
cushions between the nerve roots that keep you free
from pain. Over time, gravity can narrow these cushions
which leaves you in pain.

prevents proper blood and oxygen flow. This build up
